This session format is available only to writers in our Top Tier Program.
This session includes 2 x 30 minute Zoom meetings.
In the first meeting, the exec will review the feature script OR pilot and bible (if provided) and meet with the writer via Zoom for 30 minutes to provide rewrite notes.
The writer will rewrite their script with the markup switch on and send it back to the exec to read and then meet with the exec via Zoom for a second 30 minutes to receive further feedback on their script.
Character and great tension will always catch my eye!
Anything genre, but especially horror feature scripts for a women director or written by queer writers.
I'm not interested in horror comedy or any comedies.
Mary Beth McAndrews is a filmmaker, critic, academic, producer, podcaster, editor, and all-around horror film nerd. She previously served as the editor-in-chief at Dread Central, as well as a director and producer with Epic Pictures Group. Now, she's the marketing director and a producer for the new indie horror studio, Little Spark Films.
She's produced indie horror films such as THE JESTER, GHOST GAME, and FOR SALE BY EXORCIST. Her feature film debut BYSTANDERS premiered in January 2025.
