Jalessa Jones is currently a coordinator in scripted television at Entertainment One (YELLOWJACKETS, CRUEL SUMMER, UNT. NOAH CENTINEO ESPIONAGE SERIES, THE ROOKIE). Previously, Jalessa held a similar role at MetaMorphic Entertainment in support of Producer and Manager Adesuwa McCalla. MetaMorphic Entertainment was recently under a first-look television deal with Amazon Studios to develop original series. Prior to MetaMorphic, Jalessa worked in the literary department at management company Circle of Confusion. She also worked for the VP of Production at Columbia Pictures, and for the President and CEO of Media Res. A mid-western girl both at heart and in superior taste in pizza, Jalessa attended Columbia College Chicago's Television Program, where her academic focus revolved around the development, writing, producing, and directing of television shows. She aspires to one day be the Shonda Rhimes of the Y.A. television space.
