This session format is available only to writers in our Top Tier Program.
This session includes 2 x 30 minute Zoom meetings.
In the first meeting, the exec will review the feature script OR pilot and bible (if provided) and meet with the writer via Zoom for 30 minutes to provide rewrite notes.
The writer will rewrite their script with the markup switch on and send it back to the exec to read and then meet with the exec via Zoom for a second 30 minutes to receive further feedback on their script.
I prefer hearing pitches that feel conversation, like you're describing the idea to a friend at a bar. We should FEEL your enthusiasm for it, and you should avoid reading off the page.
Fresh characters that I haven't seen before. Take risks. We love a good "fuck-it" script. There will always be notes, and notes will always be different depending on who you ask, so write whatever you feel with 100% confidence. Don't hold back!
Jack joined Zero Gravity Management as an assistant and has since worked up to being a creative executive and producer. He currently has over a dozen feature films at various stages of development, packaging, and financing, and is constantly looking looking for new writers and IP to develop with.
Jack previously worked in scripted development at Propagate Content, where he assisted in the staffing of multiple writers rooms as well as provided feedback for projects in all stages of production. Jack was also tasked with researching adaptable IP and hearing pitches on projects for Propagate to attach to and develop.
