We love a good horror film here at Roadmap. The adrenaline, the suspense, the scares! Horror's one of the oldest genres around, so how is it that these movies are still able to get an emotional response out of us? We would think that we've seen all the tricks in the books by the 100th time we've thrown our popcorn in a theater or squeezed the life out of our loved ones' hand on the couch. But they still get us.

Kelly Gallagher is the VP of Production and Development at Dark Castle Entertainment. At Dark Castle, Kelly has overseen projects such as SEANCE, directed by Simon Barrett and starring Suki Waterhouse for RLJE/Shudder, THE EXPECTING, directed by Mary Harron and starring AnnaSophia Robb for Quibi/Roku, and Dark Castle's prequel to the 2009 cult hit ORPHAN, ORPHAN: FIRST KILL starring Julia Stiles and Isabelle Fuhrman.
Before joining Dark Castle in 2017, Kelly began her career in TV Lit management, and spent many years as a Script Reader for the Paradigm Agency. She then joined indie comic book company Oni Press, where she worked on ATOMIC BLONDE and Co-Produced EXTRACTION, one of Netflix's most-watched original films. Kelly most recently Produced ORPHANS, the upcoming third installment of the ORPHAN franchise for Paramount/Republic Pictures.
