More about Giselle Johnson

K. Giselle Johnson is a native Houstonian and proud Howard alum obsessed with the world of film and TV. Over the past ten years, she has directed, written and produced numerous award-winning short films which have screened around the world as well as web series that have reached almost over 150,000 views collectively.

K. Giselle moved to LA right after college where she landed a gig at VICE Studios which at the time was a freshly funded umbrella of VICE News dedicated to bringing scripted TV and feature films to life. During her time there, she had the joy of working on the films JUDY AND PUNCH and Amazon’s THE REPORT starring Annette Bening and Adam Driver. After two years, she was recruited by Netflix to join their Original Studio Film team as a Creative Assistant where she had the pleasure of working on: THE MIDNIGHT SKY, JINGLE JANGLE, SPENSER CONFIDENTIAL and THE IRISHMAN - just to name a few. During that time, she solely produced a rom-com pilot - which sold to ALLBLK with a six-episode order and recently premiered to rave reviews - starring reality TV personality and influencer KendallKyndall (BET’s “Games People Play”), Kandi Burruss (“Real Housewives of Atlanta”), with Grammy Award-winning singer-song writer, Eric Bellinger, serving as music supervisor.

K.Giselle is currently a Creative Executive at Sony/Screen Gems ushering in a new wave of diverse comedy and romance content with projects such as TWO AND ONLY, a re-imagining of classic, MY BEST FRIEND'S WEDDING with a bisexual, Latinx POV starring history making Oscar-Winner Ariana DeBose (WEST SIDE STORY). She also recently wrapped filming on upcoming horror film TRUE HAUNTING, starring Erin Moriarty (The Boys) and Jamie Campbell Bower (Stranger Things).

When she’s not reading, writing or producing, you can find her at a food festival on a hunt for boba tea and something fried.

How it Works

Private Month Mentorship

Each month mentorship kicks off with a preliminary 15-min. call to set expectations and lay out strategy for the month. Writer will have email access to the executive plus 4x one-hour consultations with the exec. Exec will read up to 4 scripts in one month (different drafts of the same script or 4 different scripts) and conduct 4x one-hour story notes calls. Calls can also include feedback on your pitch, branding, or career strategy.

If you pay with the deposit/payment plan, your second half will be due the 2nd week of the Mentorship. If you need a different type of payment plan, email

What To Expect

After registering, you will receive an automatic Order Confirmation email. Then Roadmap's Director of Consultations, Terra Joy, will get your mentor looped in with you! If you do not hear from Terra or the exec within 3 days of registering, feel free to email for an update.
