Comedy, romantic comedy, queer joy, a queer rom com, real women, kick ass women, an empowering message, elevated feminism, magical worlds (which can be on this Earth), near-fi, a new take on procedural crime drama. Ultimately I always want someone or something to believe in. I want a little bit of hope and heart.
Drugs or gangsters, rape revenge, queer trauma, conscripting other people’s stories.

Emily pushed me (and the others in my group) hard, I told her she broke my brain. Where others have said this script is great, Emily said take it back to outline because you've got a great idea so let's make it a great script. That wasn't easy to hear, but she was absolutely right. I will have a better script because of her feedback. She gave me so much good stuff to think about. I've never been so excited to do a page 1 rewrite.
