We have a special RomCom class for you! Everyone loves a good RomCom, but writing one is easier said than done. You have to satisfy the audience expectations (meet cute, anyone) while also finding a fresh take on the genre to stand out in the marketplace.
Limited to only 5 writers, this 4 week class with producer Ryan Christians will take you through the development process and get set up for completing the opening pages of your script. Walk away with a solid outline, developed characters, and the first act of your RomCom.
This Four Week Class Will Cover:
- Structure
- Character development
- Comedy and tone
- Feedback on your outline and pages
Ryan Christians is a producer with over a decade of experience working across major studios and production companies, including Walt Disney Studios, Summit Entertainment & Di Bonaventura Pictures. At Marc Platt Productions, he produced two feature films before joining Campfire Studios as Head of Scripted, where he set up multiple projects spanning film, TV & animation and oversaw numerous others. His latest rom-com film PLAYERS launched on Netflix on Valentine’s Day where it reached #1 Worldwide. He is in pre-production on the upcoming psychological horror PALETTE starring Hunter Schafer, Noomi Rapace & Frankie Shaw while also prepping the Black List project ROSES for imminent production.
