More about David Baggelaar
David Baggelaar is a Literary Manager at Bellevue Productions. Prior to joining Bellevue, David spent over a decade at Benderspink, joining the company in 2012 and remaining through its transition to Good Fear in 2016.
On the production side, he has worked in some capacity on New Line's WE'RE THE MILLERS, HORRIBLE BOSSES 2, VACATION, and Disney's MULAN. He was an Associate Producer on A24's UNDER THE SILVER LAKE.
As a manager, David has built a portfolio of film and TV writers, auteur directors, and IP creators. His clients have written on series such as 13 Reasons Why, Ballard, Grey's Anatomy, S.W.A.T., and AP Bio, and on the upcoming Family Guy spinoff Stewie. On the feature side, his writers are working with studios like Netflix, Sony, and Amazon. He is committed to developing his clients' work and finding the right home for their projects and talents, and is always on the lookout for noisy voices and bold, confident concepts.
A Los Angeles native, David is a graduate of San Diego State University, where he received a degree in Psychology, a background he's found surprisingly useful in this business. David lives in Valley Village with his wife and their four cats.
Testimonials
David was so easy to speak with - the time flew by! I would love to work with him again. We had a great rapport, and he had wonderful insight...and gave me some strong things to consider in future projects.
