This session format is available only to writers in our Top Tier Program.
This session includes 2 x 30 minute Zoom meetings.
In the first meeting, the exec will review the feature script OR pilot and bible (if provided) and meet with the writer via Zoom for 30 minutes to provide rewrite notes.
The writer will rewrite their script with the markup switch on and send it back to the exec to read and then meet with the exec via Zoom for a second 30 minutes to receive further feedback on their script.
Really focusing on the why -- Why now? Why this character? Why this world and how is it all connected.
Drama, YA, Themes relating to class, status. I prefer hour-long premium streaming but am well versed in episodic broadcast shows as well. I love place based storytelling where the world / location is a character and connected to the storytelling.
Ashley Charbonnet is a dramatic screenwriter who's written on CBS' MAGNUM P.I., ROSWELL NEW MEXICO for the CW as well as THE EQUALIZER for CBS. She is an alumna of the CBS Writers Mentorship Program and holds an MFA in screenwriting and directing from Columbia University. She is currently pitching and developing various projects and lives in Los Angeles.
