BIO
ZOE PADDON is a French-American writer who grew up across four continents. After bouncing around the world for most of her life, she moved to Brooklyn to find a sense of place, or rather, a place to nest, while writing and dreaming about everywhere and nowhere.
Fascinated by the beauty and tragedy of childhood innocence, Zoé's writing centers around coming-of-age stories and the imaginary worlds we all create to feel like we belong. She writes for Third-Culture Kids like herself, in the hopes that they can find a place to call home in her multidisciplinary work.
Her short story “Hide-and-Seek” won the 2021 Fiction Contest at the San Miguel Literary Writers’ Conference. She received her MFA in Creative Writing from The New School in 2022.
