BIO
WESLEY DU was put on academic probation twice while studying Acting at Cal Arts. He was then accepted into the graduate playwriting program at UCLA, only to be expelled. While working a meaningless job at a bowling alley, he enrolled in graduate school to become a mental health therapist. Wesley’s one-man show, “Hong Kong Mississippi,” which he wrote and acted in, premiered at the La Mamma Theater Company and received a Critic’s Pick in the New York Times. Wesley is most proud of the fact that even through all the trials in his life, he has not given up.
