Sheila Barnes is originally from Bar Harbor, Maine, a seaside town loaded with salty lobstermen and tony "summer people", which provides writers with infinite inspiration for memorable characters. She graduated from McGill University, married, raised two daughters, and taught global history to high school students.
After decades immersed in learning every aspect of human nature, she retired to work on her first love: writing romance. Sheila now lives in New York City, where, in long walks around town, she finds ideas for love stories on every corner.
Sheila's goal is to share her stories about the irresistible pull of falling in love, no matter how hard people's fear of loss blocks their trust in it.
