BIO 

Shari Lynette Carpenter is a New York-based writer/director. Her romantic comedy screenplay, Three's Complicated was produced by TV One with her as the director. She has directed three films for Lifetime: Single Black Female, Single Black Female 2: Simone's Revenge, and Mary J. Blige's Strength of a Woman, as well as an episode of OWN's TV series Queen Sugar. She is currently a fellow in the Paramount Global Episodic Directing Initiative.
