BIO
Shana Figueroa is an American screenwriter, director, editor, and producer who specializes in horror and comedy narrative fiction, with occasional dips into other genres. She graduated from Emerson College in 2024 with an MFA in Visual and Media Arts. She has written and directed 10 of her own short films, as well as produced 5 films for her colleagues. Her 2024 horror short "Forever War" has screened at multiple high-profile genre festivals such as the Chicago Horror Film Festival, the Boston Underground Film Festival, and the Salem Horror Fest, and has won multiple awards, including Best Horror Film, Best Actor, and Best Director. Her most recent released film-"L'Amour," a raunchy, dialogue-free comedy about a vengeful housewife who accidentally discovers her cheating husband's love for kink-is wrapping up its run on the film festival circuit. Her latest project, the short film "Horror Stories by the Campfire," about two lifelong friends on a camping trip who end up in a deadly clash when one tells a ghost story that sounds a little too real, is scheduled for release in Spring 2026.
