BIO
Sarah Rossmann has most recently written numerous TV episodes for the German crime series AUF STREIFE (Seasons 14 & 15), produced by All3Media. Growing up with her family’s cinema in Germany inspired her love for writing fictional crime stories about brilliant, stubborn women, whether with twisty suspense, action, or humor. After a more than 15-year career with the UN in New York, which took her to 28 countries, she returned to her creative roots by completing courses in film and TV production, including screenwriting, at the New York Film Academy. Sarah’s unpublished debut crime fiction novel, MURDER IN THE BIG EASY, which she adapted from her TV pilot, won Best Mystery/Thriller in the 2024 Book Pipeline Unpublished Contest. Her independent, female-driven screenplays also won multiple awards and nominations. She is a member of the Screenwriters Guild (Deutscher Drehbuchverband) and Women in Film and Television Germany (WIFTG). When she’s not writing, Sarah enjoys long walks with her mini Bernedoodle, Daisy.
