Quarterfinalist, 2026 Roadmap Writers' Shorts Competition

BIO

LA native Porcha "Royce" Evans named after not one but two luxury cars, a petite powerhouse has always been ahead of her time. Testing out of high school at the tender age of 16 and going straight to college, she quickly realized she should've stayed in high school because "adulting" sucks. After completing two years of grad school, she had her "Eureka" moment and hasn't been able to quiet the voices battling to get out of her head and onto the page since then. Her screenplay, Ashes to Ashes was a jury selection at the 14th AAWIC film festival in 2011.  "The Process", a web series she co-wrote is currently on Black Oak TVs. Maid of Dishonor, a script she co-wrote was a 2016 Nicholl's Fellowship Quarterfinalist and 2nd Rounder at the 2018 AFF. She was staffed in a mini room on an animated McBath Media project in Fall of 2020 that's currently on hiatus. She's working on Season 3 of "The Process" with plans to film in Winter 2024.
