BIO 

RAGAN MOZEE is a Chicago-based screenwriter with a passion for emotionally grounded genre storytelling. A former educator and Second City alum, Ragan uses speculative fiction, horror, and dark comedy to explore survival, identity, and systemic resistance—often through the eyes of characters navigating fractured institutions.

Drawing from her lived experience as a Black woman and a survivor, Ragan’s scripts reflect a sharp voice, layered world-building, and a commitment to stories that center the marginalized. She is currently developing projects that amplify underrepresented perspectives in high-concept formats.
