OLIVIA HALLER writes feel-good, emotionally earnest stories about relationships, community, and sexuality - often with a healthy dose of the surreal. She is a DC-raised nationally-produced playwright currently working as a literary assistant in Los Angeles. Most recently, her TV pilot FRIENDMANCE was a Finalist for the 2022 Catalyst Story Institute festival and a Semifinalist in the Screencraft Comedy Competition. Her short film [SUBTEXT] which she wrote, produced, and starred in has placed in multiple festivals including Indy Shorts, Cordillera, and Crested Butte. Olivia holds a BFA in Theatre Arts from Boston University and two certificates from UCLA's Professional Program in Writing for Television.
