BIO
MINNA LEE is a Hmong-Vietnamese American writer and animator who brings audiences into fantastical worlds full of queer love and strange magic. Their sci-fi play about a pho, My Home on the Moon, had its world premiere at San Francisco Playhouse and won the 2025 San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Award for Best Original Script. They are a Sesame Workshop Writers' Room Fellow, a MacDowell Fellow, and received the 2024 Dramatist Guild's Lanford Wilson Award. Minna has an MFA in playwriting from Hunter College and loves bugs.
