Mike Stack is a former Pennsylvania Lieutenant Governor and State Senator who grew up in a three-generation Philadelphia political dynasty. He spent his career on the inside of Philadelphia politics, where the real stories were rarely the ones making headlines. With Favorite Son, Stack draws on those firsthand experiences to create an original fictional series about the families, loyalties, betrayals, and impossible choices that shape political power behind closed doors. Co-created with six-time Emmy-nominated producer and writer Eric Gardner, the series opens a door into a world few people ever get to see.
