BIO
MICHAEL J. BEALL is a Mexican-American writer who writes coming-of-age adventure comedies about unlikely heroes discovering their true selves. His leads are endearing square pegs looking to fit into round holes until they find the courage to be their unique selves. Michael most recently served as Head Writer on the YouTube Original series THE EGGVENTURERS. He’s developed for Disney, Warner Brothers Discovery, Dreamworks, Moonbug, 3PAS, and Goldieblox, and he’s written over 50 produced episodes of television on shows such as Netflix’s ACTION PACK, Apple’s DUCK & GOOSE, Fred Rodgers’ ALMA’S WAY, and Lupita Nyong’o’s Executive-Produced series SUPER SEMA. Hailing from Los Angeles, Michael is a graduate of CSULA’s School of Television, Film, and Media Studies, but he’s most proud of his “Funcle” status given to him by his four nieces and nephews.
