BIO
Meg Blakemore is an author and screenwriter living in Maine. Her middle grade sci-fi novel THE FIREFLY CODE is currently being shopped as a series. Simon & Schuster is set to publish her cozy mystery for adults WHEN HARRIET MET HOMICIDE, about a bookseller enlisted to help solve the murder of her favorite author. When Meg became a mom and crossed the threshold into her forties, she developed a not-so-super superpower: invisibility. Raising teenagers who remind her daily that she is a relic from the late 1900s led her to write EM MURPHY USED TO BE COOL about a middle-aged mom who had a brush with rock stardom in her twenties and gets a second chance when an old song goes viral. Meg's action and rom com screenplays feature underestimated women who realize that when no one is looking, you can do cool stuff.
