Lisa Steadman is a USC-trained writer-director whose work explores modern intimacy, emotional vulnerability, and the tension between comfort and connection. A former corporate storyteller and bestselling author of five books published by Simon & Schuster, she built a national platform examining love and reinvention before returning to narrative filmmaking. Her screenwriting includes romantic comedies and character-driven dramas developed for Hallmark, Lifetime, and Tubi. Through film and television, she creates contemporary relationship-centered stories that balance wit, emotional honesty, and cultural insight.
With more than 20 years of production and executive leadership experience, Brian Thomas has directed and produced globally recognized projects and high-impact storytelling campaigns. His work spans entertainment and branded content for clients including HBO, CBS, FX, and Universal Sports, where cinematic craft meets strategic execution.
Lisa and Brian's professional meet-cute happened in 2007, when Lisa appeared on iVillage Live to promote her bestselling book It's a Breakup, Not a Breakdown, with Brian producing behind the scenes. Nearly two decades later, the two reunited and began collaborating. tAInted love marks their first independent film together, combining sharp relationship insight with polished visual storytelling to explore connection in an increasingly optimized world.
