BIO
KEVIN KOLJAC is a writer who learned to find humor in the darkest of times as a teen when his father was diagnosed with brain cancer. It fell to Kevin to take care of his dad and raise his younger sister while his mother worked, and this instilled within him a—sometimes unhealthy—work ethic. After kickboxing for Team USA and graduating from Harvard Law, Kevin studied writing under Michael Jamin (King of the Hill, Takoma FD) on his way to becoming a semifinalist at the Austin Film Festival and the Page Awards and a finalist for the Roadmap Writers GPS Fellowship. Attributing his love of comedy writing to his high school English teacher who let him skip class each time he authored a poem that made her laugh, Kevin crafts stories full of dark humor and a healthy dose of whimsy about driven protagonists who are their own worst enemies. As a stay-at-home dad living in LA, you can find Kevin strolling with his toddler down Larchmont or trying to clean snot, and god knows what else, out of his hair.
