BIO 

 

JOSEPH MURILLO is a horror writer with an M.F.A. in Screenwriting from CSU Northridge. After a near ten-year stint in the hospitality industry after college, he began writing again. Since then, a proof of concept was produced for his horror script, Cryptids, for winning the Reno-Tahoe Screenplay competition in 2023, and he was selected to take part in Coverage Ink’s Get Repped program. Most recently, his horror/fantasy script, Forged in Blood, was featured in the 2024 Blood List. Growing up disabled allows Joseph to write about outcasts and their struggles for acceptance while slaying monsters.
