BIO
Jill Hoppe is a writer based in Los Angeles whose work spans film, television, animation, stage, and short fiction. Her words have also appeared on the back of wine bottles and coupons for tuna fish, which she prefers not to talk about. Having grown up next door to a Disney Imagineer whose house was overrun with artwork, props, and puppets, Jill was drawn to the world of make-believe early on, parlaying a passion for cartoons and theme parks into jobs with Disney TV Animation, Universal Studios, and Francis Ford Coppola. Her projects, which have placed in contests such as Nicholl, PAGE, Final Draft, and Austin Film Festival, feature quirky stories with offbeat characters, including Sinner v. Saints, a feature cast with Maisie Williams and Freddie Highmore in 2022.
