BIO 


 

JESSE RANDALL is a queer filmmaker/writer that focuses on comedies and thrillers about LGBTQIA+ characters surviving late-state capitalism in America. Jesse's short-form content has over thirty-five licensing deals on streaming platforms.

Jesse's first digital series, The Safety Plan, premiered at SeriesFest and was nominated for Best New Media and Best Comedic Performance at the 2021 "Best of NewFilmmakers Los Angeles Awards". The Safety Plan is streaming on Tubi, Revry TV, Plex TV, and over twenty platforms. Jesse's follow-up project, Shadow Self, was nominated for the 2023 "Best of NewFilmmakers Los Angeles Awards" for Best New Media and Best Comedic Performance.  Shadow Self is streaming on over a dozen platforms, including Tubi, Cineverse, and Plex TV. Jesse's latest film about the homeless crisis in Los Angeles, Spare Change, debuted at Outfest in 2023 and was featured in over a dozen film festivals.

Jesse is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Entertainment Media Management at California State University, Northridge. Jesse recently completed a scripted development internship with FirstGen Content and is completing a literary management internship at Untitled Entertainment in August 2025. While completing an undergraduate program at CSUN in Screenwriting, Jesse completed internships at Lionsgate, Gamechanger Films, and the Producers Guild of America.
