BIO
JEFFREY VAN DAVIS, a retired professor (University of Munich), is an award-winning filmmaker and screenwriter from Chicago, now living in Germany. His screenplay, HEIDEGGER IN RUINS, won a Silver Remi Award at the WorldFest Houston Film Festival. His documentary on Norman Mailer was broadcast on USA Network and PBS, as well as his documentary about James Jones, author of From Here To Eternity.
All My Tomorrows (written and directed by van Davis) won a Silver Remi at the WorldFest 51 Houston International Film Festival (as a work-in-progress). His latest screenplay, MADRID AFFAIR, is an official selection Beverly Hills Film Festival 2025, Best Screenplay Semi-finalist Emerging Screenplay competition 2025, and winner at the Big Apple Film Festival NYC - Best Drama Feature Screenplay 2025.
