BIO
Jarrod Tallman is a screenwriter and filmmaker with more than three decades of experience as a creative director, producer, director, and editor. His work spans surf films, documentaries, branded content, and music videos, including Band of Horses' "No One's Gonna Love You." As AV Director at Billabong, he led global campaigns and earned Surfer Poll's Movie of the Year for Still Filthy and the Charleston Film Festival's Audience Choice Award for Mundaka. After studying film, experimental writing, and philosophy at The Evergreen State College, he completed UCLA's Professional Program in Screenwriting. His genre feature script Escape from Ape Canyon earned a CineStory scholarship, and he is currently completing Something Ancient This Way Comes, a proof-of-concept short he wrote, produced, and directed.
