Born into the theatre world surrounded by artists of all types, Jane grew up watching and rewatching period films, live action and animated adventures, and movie musicals with her family. Jane's writing, both features and pilots, often takes familiar time periods and genres typically centered on men and elevates stories from groups we have not heard from within them; often heavily female-centered and inclusive, with characters that find their voices and power through hard work and chosen family. She writes impactful, tender, emotionally charged slice-of-life period dramas, escapist romantic comedies, and cozy holiday romances. In 2025, her holiday romance Everywhere You Go was a quarterfinalist at Stage32, and her drama script The Midnight Zone was an Austin Film Festival Second-Rounder. She lives in Burbank.
