As a screenwriter, GARY ALVAREZ was born on the road during a hitchhiking mission across Mexico from coast to coast. The stories he penned in his journal while riding in the luggage compartment of a bus morphed into a screenplay which he plans to direct someday…
In the meantime, Gary writes about the things that fascinate him: Chicano superheroes fighting government AI Super Agents; 90s teenage rocknrollers conquering the world; rivaling brothers saving their father’s taco truck and thirtysomething BFFs RV-ing on a drug-fueled trip to the Northern Lights.
But what brings Gary the most joy is being a first-time dad to his toddler son, Sol Guadalupe.
