Award-winning journalist Eric Hiss-Lloreda (bylines also under Eric Hiss), regularly navigates the world in search of unexpected and engaging stories that reveal hidden truths. In a career spanning two decades, he has reported from countries as varied as Colombia, Namibia and Tahiti while contributing to top-tier media outlets including The New York Times, Condé Nast Traveler, The Hollywood Reporter, Latina and others. With his scripted projects, Eric is passionate about writing adrenalin-fueled action dramas with social relevance, such as "The Devil's Acre," which placed in the 2019 Austin Film Festival. He has also been named a screenwriting fellow of LALIFF (LA Latino International Film Festival) and has written scores of treatments for commercials produced for the Latin market. Eric is also an avid sailor, enjoys backcountry hikes and camping and loves to travel and practice his Spanish.
