BIO 

DAVE BEAMISH is a Canadian writer/director & actor, originally from New Zealand & Australia. His latest film, dementia-aware drama Our Long Goodbye, was selected for funding by Crazy8s Film Society in 2024 and is scheduled to premiere mid-2025. Honing his scriptwriting craft whilst location scouting for major studio productions like Maid, Joy Ride, and The Last of Us, Dave enjoys dystopian worlds, quirky dramedies, and classic single-cam comedies. Currently, he is developing a lighthearted Crime Procedural series with Moon7 in Vancouver BC, based on his former career as an architect.
