BIO 

 

Craig Packard is a former drama and English teacher based in Seattle who had been a theatre actor and director before making the shift to filmmaking. Being a teacher was fundamental in giving him the confidence to direct. This Bloody Country is his first feature film. Prior to This Bloody Country, he wrote and directed the award winning short Bobby Ellis is Going to Kick Your Ass which premiered at the Seattle International Film Festival. He has written and directed shorts, music videos, and scripts and received screenwriting awards from Slamdance, NBC ShortCuts, Austin Film Festival, CineStory, and Seattle International Film Festival, among others.
