BIO
CELINE FOSTER is a Black queer comedy writer originally from Metro Detroit and currently based in Los Angeles. A Stanford graduate with prior professional experience in tech and consulting, she currently works as a showrunner’s assistant for the legendary Yvette Lee Bowser. Celine’s work uses humor to ignite hope by exploring the comedy of epic falls from grace, misaligned expectations, and coming-of-age amidst chaos. Stylistically, her scripts blend rich, diverse perspectives with fresh, acerbic humor. Celine's screenwriting work has been recognized by Austin Film Festival, WeScreenplay, California Women’s Film Festival, and more.
