BIO
CELINE FOSTER is a Black queer comedy writer originally from Metro Detroit and currently based in Los Angeles. Her work delves into the comedy of epic falls from grace, the gut punch of misaligned expectations, and coming-of-age in a room on fire. She works as a showrunner’s assistant at SisterLee Productions under the legendary showrunner, Yvette Lee Bowser, and is a current fellow in Amy Aniobi’s TRIBE Writers’ Fellowship. Her screenwriting work has been recognized by Austin Film Festival, WeScreenplay, Stanford in Entertainment, California Women’s Film Festival and more.
