BIO
Catie Elaine Hankins is a writer, producer, and actress based in Austin, Texas. She creates character-driven stories centered on female underdogs - women who enter the story seeking acceptance and exit it having outgrown the need.
Her writing credits include New Me, a comedic web series that won "Best Romantic Comedy" at the Austin Comedy Festival, and The Queen's Stitch, a period suspense short set in 1819 London following a young actress with a stutter who discovers that the stage she has been fighting to stand on was never built for her. The one that was built for her is illegal. The Queen's Stitch is the project she is developing through the Roadmap Short Script Lab.
As an actress, she has appeared in Taylor Sheridan's The Madison and Tom McCarthy's The Statement, among over 25 film credits.
