BIO 

From humble beginnings in technical theatre, Carissa uses her knowledge from working on wigs backstage on Broadway to write humorous and campy films. Carissa will graduate in June from DePaul University where she'll be earning her BFA in Wig, Hair, & Makeup Design & Technology BFA. Some of Carissa's favorite things to do when she's not writing screenplays or barbering are building wigs, building sets, and rigging lights for live shows.
