The newly formed writing duo of Bryan B & Hunter D (BBHD) specialize in crafting contained action thrillers with attitude...and just the right amount of humor. Heavily influenced by the original cinema of the 80's & 90's, Hunter & Bryan strive to infuse some of that timeless nostalgia into everything they write. Their debut action spec, Checkout, was a PAGE medalist winner and is currently under option and in development. Checkout also earned placement on Coverfly's Overall Top Ten List highlighting the all-time highest rated Red List scripts in all genres (> 1%). BBHD's fully contained crime thriller short, A Little R&R was completed in late 2025 and will be hitting the festival circuit in early 2026. Hunter & Bryan pride themselves on showcasing their distinctive voice, making bold creative choices, and having faith in their collaborative process, an old school approach they continue to trust, despite all evidence that shortcuts exist.
