Bill Zide - BIO

Originally from inner-city Chicago, Bill grew up in part abroad going to missionary schools and living in the Himalayas. After college on the East coast, he moved to Los Angeles. Working both in writing and production, where he gained significant experience working in lighting and locations on indie features, commercials and music videos, and most recently running Health & Safety on TV projects for a major studio. On the writing side, Bill has written for a wide variety of media including indie features

BIO 

 

Originally from inner-city Chicago, Bill grew up in part abroad going to missionary schools and living in the Himalayas.  After college on the East coast, he moved to Los Angeles. 
Working both in writing and production, where he gained significant experience working in lighting and locations on indie features, commercials and music videos, and most recently running Health & Safety on TV projects for a major studio.

On the writing side, Bill has written for a wide variety of media including indie features, animation, interactive multi-player video games, documentaries, graphic novels as well as copy for promos and trailers.

As a writer, Bill's scripts have won or placed regularly in major competitions including as a Top 50 finalist in Jumpstart and a semi-finalist in Austin & the Nicholl Fellowship with one winning pilot in the top 2% on Coverfly.
