BIO 

BIANCA AHONOR is a writer-director who grew up in Michigan, the daughter of immigrant parents from Ghana. She is currently based in New York City where she is an MFA candidate in film at New York University. Her feature script, X'S AND O'S, was an Academy Nicholl semifinalist. Bianca is also a Hedgebrook-Humanitas Screenwriting Fellow. Her short film, MIRANDA OF MIND, recently screened at the Queens World Film Festival.
