Bartley McSwine was an Associate Professor Emeritus, Chicago State University. Before McSwine passed away in 2014, he was a co-writer with Robert Coles on their screenplay ODE TO FREEDOM. He was also involved in the planning stages of their short script DUEL AND DEATH.
