BIO
Arynetta is a Texas native and self-proclaimed city girl with a country heart. She's a character-obsessed writer-director-actress who tells diverse, female driven stories about ambition and moxie, and loves to give voice to the naughty, the flawed, the misbehaving and misunderstood. From romance to horror, her stories explore all of the hilarious and heartbreaking ways we win and lose. Her scripts have been recognized by the Nicholl Fellowship (top 10%), Manchester Film Festival (2nd place), UK Film Festival (shortlist), ScreenCraft (TV Pilot & Horror quarterfinalist), and Austin Film Festival (Drama & Comedy Second Rounder). She holds a B.A. in Communications from Hampton University and an M.A. in Writing for Stage and Broadcast Media from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
Beyond the script, Arynetta is a freelance wellness writer and a passionate advocate for low-tox, intentional living. She's also the creator and voice of Effie Monroe — a children's animated character bringing mindfulness and meditation to the next generation, one breath at a time.
