BIO
ANTHONY HYATT is a writer from Colorado who's momentarily based in Hamburg, Germany, and the UK. He is currently under a pitch and development deal with Universal Television for his co-written pilot PROJECT VIOLET, and he is a credited writer on the upcoming Randy Travis biopic FOREVER AND EVER, AMEN, announced in Deadline, Rolling Stone, and 100+ other publications. In 2022, his co-written, hour-long comedy pilot BACK OF HOUSE was briefly greenlit by Sony, before being tragically tabled by budget cuts. Anthony is the descendant of strong, stubborn people like his grandmother, who grew up in Shanghai during WWII and hid a British spy in her upstairs closet. Her mother—his great-grandmother—was a gifted linguist who refused to translate for Japanese soldiers while they occupied China and, instead, willingly faced her death in the form of a typhoid injection. And now he's married to a badass force of nature who can script unscripted like it's never been scripted before. Anthony does his best to carry on this storied legacy by writing bold protagonists who light the world on fire. His characters burn too hot, waving their flaws while they run face-first into brick walls. When he's not obsessing over scene construction, you can find him apologizing for being a Manchester United fan. That glint of guilt in his eyes comes from the amount of half-full water bottles he's left behind on set.
