BIO
Albert is a writer and past genetic counsellor whose work combines scientific expertise, lived experience and a fascination with the moral choices hidden inside powerful institutions. He was the first man in Europe to earn a master's degree in genetic counselling, working at the point where inheritance, illness, identity and uncertainty reshape families' lives. He also founded Writers Ink London, which has supported more than 100 emerging and developing writers since its inception. His screen work explores the collision between private vulnerability and public systems, often through thrillers driven by medicine, politics, secrecy and moral compromise. He aims to create ambitious, accessible thrillers that entertain while asking difficult questions about power, responsibility and what people owe one another.
