More about Sam Shaw

Sam is a film and TV development professional with over 10 years of experience in the industry. Prior to the writers' strike, she was the VP of Tribeca Productions, which had a development deal with Netflix. While there, she sold multiple projects including an F1 racing feature, an elevated spy series, and a limited drama series with a genre twist. She has worked with A-list writers, directors, and actors on both original ideas and optioned IP. Prior to her time at Tribeca, Sam was the Director of Development at Storied Media Group, which specialized in IP-driven content. While there, she sold pitches to major studios like 20th TV, Sony TV, and CBS. Her first job in Hollywood was doing market research on theatrically released films which still informs her approach to development today.
