I'm primarily interested in fantasy of all kinds, but I'll read almost any genre of fiction. I love found family, original magic systems (particularly those that utilize aspects from underrepresented cultures), complex dynamics, retellings (especially fairytales and Greek mythology), and romance. I am a sucker for any well-executed trope and animal companions. I tend to find books that can make me cry, but not necessarily out of grief or death, irresistible.
In adult and YA, I'm looking for fantasy and romance with compelling characters and strong worldbuilding. I'm also more casually looking for science fiction. If you've got anything reminiscent of Babel by R.F. Kuang, The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller, Little Thieves by Margaret Owen, Red Rising by Pierce Brown, The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid, The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab, Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo, or Garden of the Cursed by Katy Rose Pool, I would love to read it!
For middle grade, I love anything that can make me laugh. Voice is so important here! Some of my favorites in this category include Warriors by Erin Hunter, Gregor the Overlander by Suzanne Collins, The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart, and The Sisters Grimm by Michael Buckley.

Natalie grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia reading as many fantastical adventures she could get her hands on. After a myriad of publishing internships and graduating from New York University with a major in English and a minor in psychology, she joined HG Literary to assist Carrie Hannigan.
