Joey Dizon is a screenwriter from Van Nuys, California, recognized for his expertise in crafting high-concept stories and building cinematic universes. After seven years at Marvel Studios, where he contributed to over six films and honed his commercial storytelling chops under writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, he worked in the Story Department of the Russo Brothers’ production company, AGBO. As Creative Executive of Story and IP, he oversaw development on genre projects, including RELIC, THE LEGEND OF OCHI, THE ELECTRIC STATE, THE GRAY MAN, ALL FUN AND GAMES, SLUGFEST, and their ongoing EXTRACTION franchise. In his more recent role as AGBO's Writer of Universe IP, Joey participated in original IP creation designed for expression across film, television, and games.

Beyond AGBO, Joey continues to develop original stories, bringing a sharp, genre-savvy lens to both established franchises and original worlds. Today, he continues to write character-driven projects with strong, blockbuster sensibilities.
