I’m currently interested in female-driven genre stories, stories that center protagonists with disability or identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community, or stories around mental health (not necessarily all at once).
Janice has over a decade of experience in developing and producing films across budget levels and genres. Having worked in both the independent and studio space, she acutely understands how to make your script speak to specific audiences.
She last released ANNIVERSARY with Lionsgate in 2025, a title she started working on when she was a VP of film production and development at Fifth Season. There, she oversaw the joint slates with their major investors, CJ Entertainment and Toho, which focused heavily on library title adaptation. Prior to that, she was at Netflix where she developed, put into production, and released 13 films of all genres in the 7-45M budget range. Titles included the romcom, LOOK BOTH WAYS starring Lili Reinhart, Netflix's biggest YA film franchise, THE KISSING BOOTH 2 & 3, horror film NO ONE GETS OUT ALIVE, produced by Andy Serkis and David Bruckner, gothic horror DEVIL ALL THE TIME, directed by Antonio Campos, and the adaptation of YA sci-fi book series, UGLIES, directed by McG.
