One of the main questions executives will ask writers is, "What is the engine of your story?" It is the heart, and the fuel that drives your feature or TV pilot forward consistently. It’s what makes your audience want to keep watching. Your story engine is essential.

Manager Conrad Sun will break down how your story engine can manifest, and how to make sure it's clear and golden. He will be examining the engines for THE WALKING DEAD, ARMAGEDDON, FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, JERRY MAGUIRE, ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK, and others!

This 80-Min. Webinar Covers:

  • What exactly is a story engine?
  • How to test the viability of your story engine
  • The difference between internal vs. external stakes and how they’re co-dependent
  • How to create empathy for your characters
  • How to properly communicate your story engine when you pitch
